Doctor Visit Number 4

Megan and I had our fourth baby visit this last Friday. We were expecting to have a few tests done or have her tummy measured, but Dr. Forrest just talked with us about how things were going. He was going to do a doppler to hear the baby's heart beat, but I interrupted him and asked if we could find out the baby's sex. He said sure and took us to another room where there was a sonogram machine. Megan and I joked before the appointment that the baby was going to be stubborn and still not let us know what it is, and sure enough, it was sitting with it's legs crossed so that we couldn't see its family jewels. It was a little disappointing, but funny none the least. The baby is doing great. It is about 3-4 times bigger than the last appointment. Dr. Forrest said that he expected Megan to gain a pound a week until delivery. Megan thinks she has actually lost a pound or two. The baby's heart is good and strong and we were able to see its spine and leg and arm bones. We could also see the eye sockets and fingers and toes. It actually looks like a baby now. Sorry, no turtle shell. Megan is starting to show more and more. I will try to sneak a picture of her and post it when I can. Our next appointment is in four weeks. We will try to keep everyone more up to date. Congratulations to Kate and Sam on their new baby girl Zoe Katherine Small. Turtle can't wait to have its first play date.

Quite interesting stories. Very well written!!! The baby sounds like Dan... Joking at all times :-).
Also, i voted it will be a boy. I was told that the gender is determined by the father's family and based on that tree, i only see boys!!!!!

Come over for dinner. Nicholas is now standing and talking (don't know what he is saying but he does talk). Milo is talking back to him, too!
